Current Pitching Opportunities

BBC Radio 4 Commisioning

Written In Air is currently accepting pitches for the 2027/2028 BBC Radio 4 Commissioning Round.

We work with reporters, producers sound designers and artists on programmes across Factual programming, Arts & Drama. There is more info on these categories in WiA’s most recent newsletter. However, check out this year’s commissioning briefs for the most detailed info on these editorial opportunities.

Our company is committed to working with veteran audio producers, new audio makers and freelance journalists, writers and storytellers who may not have audio production experience (though we will help you with production support).

🗓️The deadline for pitching Written In Air is 6 February 2026 @ 5:00 PM EST🗓️

📻 Please send any questions you may have to info@writteninair.com 📻
