BBC Radio 3 Commisioning

Written In Air is currently accepting pitches for the 2026/2027 BBC Radio 3 Commissioning Round.

We work with reporter, producers sound designers and artists on programmes for the current open strands, which include Between the Ears, The Radio 3 Feature andThe Essay.

Our company is committed to working with veteran audio producers, new audio makers and freelance journalists and writers who may not have audio production experience (though we will help you with production support).
